"Squares and grids surround us in our built environment. Focus in on some squares today and make a photograph."

My nine year old is friends with Rob’s son (also nine), but they live about 1000 km apart. So they chat on Skype and sometimes play computer games against each other. Liam got comfy in his checked PJ pants and settled himself on the armchair for their gaming session this evening.

Love it! You got the squares or grids in the PJ’s. It’s framed perfectly. The black and white really rocks and you even got the Xmas tree bokeh. :)

I like the contrast between: black-white, square-circle, infocus-outoffocus, soft-hard surfaces. Very interesting point of view too.

Great capture and story! Like the squares in contrast to the bokeh and the B&W works great! Isn’t it great how kids already use that technology? Mine love to skype with their grandparents as well (who live on another continent).
