#ds397 – Friday Night Gaming

"Squares and grids surround us in our built environment. Focus in on some squares today and make a photograph."
My nine year old is friends with Rob’s son (also nine), but they live about 1000 km apart. So they chat on Skype and sometimes play computer games against each other. Liam got comfy in his checked PJ pants and settled himself on the armchair for their gaming session this evening.
This is a great abstract… I love the bokeh highlights in the background…
wonderful bokeh and interesting life story
love it and especially in B&W!!!!! (like the crop too!)
The b&w treatment and the background bokeh make this more intriguing. Nice shot!
brilliant snapshot of contempory nine yr old’s life with bokeh highlights!!
Excellent…and I love the trousers

Seen in my contacts’ photos. ( ?² )
nice capture
:) am betting he’s pretty used to being the subject, eh?
Great tones and bokeh. Looks very homely. Nice
Love it! You got the squares or grids in the PJ’s. It’s framed perfectly. The black and white really rocks and you even got the Xmas tree bokeh.
I like the contrast between: black-white, square-circle, infocus-outoffocus, soft-hard surfaces. Very interesting point of view too.
Great B&W shot!
terrific shot, great in b&w
Great capture and story! Like the squares in contrast to the bokeh and the B&W works great! Isn’t it great how kids already use that technology? Mine love to skype with their grandparents as well (who live on another continent).
you never cease to amaze with your ability to take ordinary scenes become extraordinary and interesting. very well done. excellent b/w conversion.
