Copy PS3 Games – Find Out the Exact Ways of Copying PS3 Games

Robert Macmillan asked:

If you are an avid PS3 gamer, then copying the PS3 games might be the first priority for you and you might be searching for the right ways to do that. There are some effective ways of doing this and it is possible to create the backup copies of your favorite games, this article will guide you through the most simple and effective ways of copying your PS3 games.

The most essential thing required to copy a PS3 game is a software program that is specially designed to do so. The PS3 gaming discs contain copyright protection because of which any other DVD burner is not able to make copies of the PS3 gaming discs. Therefore, the software companies have developed a special software program that can bypass this copyright protection and allow you to create the copies of the PS3 games. If you do not have this software, your PC won’t be able to recognize the PS3 gaming discs and therefore it won’t be possible to copy your PS3 games in your PC.

So download this software from a reputed site and half of your work is done. Now all that you need to do is to create the copies of your favorite games. For this insert, the original gaming disc in your PC and run the software. The software will bypass the copyright protection and create a copy of the contents of that disc. Save it at the desired location and now insert an empty DVD. The contents of the original disc will be easily copied to the new disc and you have a copy of your favorite PS3 game. In this way, you can create as many copies as you want.

Isn’t it a very easy thing to do? So start creating the backup copies of your PS3 games and you can use them whenever you want.

Choosing a Computer Case When Building Your Own PC

Jeffrey Frasco asked:

If you intend to build your own desktop computer, you should carefully consider the type of computer case that will house your internal computer components. Computer cases come in many shapes and sizes — from cute small form factors (SFFs) to the towering tower PCs.

The space inside your chosen computer case determines the number of computer parts that you can use. Small form factors may look very sleek and fancy, but they can only accommodate a limited number of computer components. You will have to carefully evaluate each piece of computer hardware because you will not be able to fit everything that you want inside the small compartment.

If you want a high-end gaming PC with all the works, you should get the roomy tower PC. Stuffing multiple hard drives, optical drives, graphics cards and extra cooling fans inside a tower computer is a breeze.

The size and design of your computer case also affects the efficiency of your cooling system. A small case that is crammed full of computer parts will have a more difficult time dispersing hot, internal air than a large and airy computer case. Overheating is probably the biggest computer hardware killer and you will be inviting this problem by placing too many computer components inside a small case.

A tower PC, on the other hand, provides more air circulation. Hence, you can minimize overheating issues. Its extra space also gives you the opportunity to install additional cooling fans to help you ward off overheating problems.

One more added benefit of a roomy computer case is its ability to accommodate future PC upgrades and mods. Of course, you will be dealing with a very heavy computer indeed.

If you are building a desktop computer that is somewhat portable, choose a smaller case but be prepared to do some creative thinking when you start stuffing your computer hardware inside the box!

Almost any range aged people can pick up a Wii remote, put in a game, and be entertained. There are different types of games for different aged groups of people but the fact that all can use the same console with the same input device is an extraordinary feat.

Nintendo Wii has transcended age, gaming ability and even individual levels of physical ability like manual dexterity, it is the only gaming console that managed to do that. Nintendo Wii games are a craze among the avid gamers and day by day the number of Wii gamers is increasing marginally. At the same time, the prices of Wii games are shooting up. The video game discs are prone to damage and even a single scratch on a Wii game disc can make it completely useless and may end up in money loss. Alienware vs Rockdirect vs Dell : Finding the Best Gaming Laptop

Titus Hoskins asked:

So you want to buy a gaming laptop.

But not just any old gaming laptop, you want to buy the best
gaming machine on the planet, the best gaming machine money can
buy — the fastest, the most powerful, the ultimate kick-ass,
take no prisoners, meanest motherboard of all gaming laptops.

Well, there’s some good news for you, things have really changed
in the laptop world. No doubt you are probably aware there have been
some major developments in laptop construction and technology
in the last year or so. Technology that puts the gaming laptop
on par or near par with its main rival, the desktop PC.

Recent changes in technology have really brought gaming laptops
into the spotlight with a whole list of new Technologies:
PCI Express, Sonoma Chipset, SLI, Hyper-Threading, Dual Graphics,
Better RAM, and now Dual Core gaming laptops. Gaming notebooks are
just now entering the specs and performance arena which was exclusively
reserved for the bulky yet much more powerful desktop PC.

Just in case you have had your head buried in term papers and study
sheets lately — hey, it happens! Here’s a brief rundown of these
new technologies that will give you the fastest gaming laptop:

Graphics Cards: these are the real heart of any gaming machine. They
are getting faster and more powerful. We also see the use of dual
graphics cards and better transfer of data with new pipelines
and buses.

PCI Express: is a new standard for expansion cards that comes in
different versions. Presently, we have the x16 and x1 lanes, they
offer increased bandwidth. For example, x1 lane offers 500MB/sec
instead of just 133MB/sec for PCI.

NVIDIA SLI: SLI stands for Scalable Link Interface, technology
that lets you use a couple of GeForce 6800 graphics cards together
with PCI Express X16. Basically, SLI will speed up graphics on a single
monitor by deploying two graphics cards. It also lets you combine
4 GPUs in one system for the fastest graphics yet.

An alternative system would be ATI’s CrossFire which
is a SLI-like configuration using ‘Master’ and ‘Slave’
cards to combine two Radeon GPUs for improved and faster
graphics.

Hyper-Threading: Gives processors better performance
especially when combined with dual-core processors,
capable of handling four software threads which will put
a smile on any gamer’s face.

Better RAM: DDR3 SDRAM (Double Data Rate Three Synchronous
Dynamic Random Access Memory) this new DDR memory standard
will use 40% less power and run at speeds up to 800 MHz.
Don’t confuse this with GDDR3 (in Graphics Cards) which is
a totally different technology.

Dual Core: just as the name says, you put two CPUs into
a laptop for more power and faster computing. Rockdirect’s
Xtreme 64 was one of the world’s first dual core notebooks to
hit the market.

Also be on the lookout for Intel’s Dual Core Notebook
Chip dubbed Yonah, it will be somewhat different in that
this notebook chip will not only have two cores but these
cores will share a 2MB cache which will greatly boost performance.

In most cases, keeping ahead of all these developments and
improvements can be a pleasurable chore for most gamers but
it can sure eat into your gaming time. And as the notebook
technology evolves, the gaming laptop will get even more smaller
and more powerful, offering a real alternative to the gaming
desktop PC even for the most die-hard Power Junkies.

Serious gamers will also know laptop or notebook gaming technology
is constantly evolving and mutating. Therefore, most gamers will
only purchase a fully upgradeable open architecture notebook, they
look for a laptop design which can be easily upgraded with the newest
and latest technology, if at all possible.

Despite this option, as laptop gaming technology steadily improves,
gamers are still left with the choice of which gaming system to buy.
Just in case you have be hibernating for last five years — hey, it
happens. Here’s a quick rundown of the different systems on the market
…Voodoo, Alienware, Mayhem, Vigor, Sager, ASUS, Rockdirect,
M-Tech, Dell…

Despite the fancy lapels, serious gamers know that most laptops are
made by the same two or three companies in Taiwan! The same components
and mainframes are assembled under different brand names and marketed
to the public.

Not to get too cynical, but sometimes it’s the laptop with
the better paint job or the better advertising that will
win your purchasing dollar. Not that savvy gamers are easily
fooled, perish the thought, but packaging may rule the day,
performance may be the same or negligible in gaming
machines with basically all the same components and specs.

Regardless of this sober reality, gamers are still left with the
choice of which gaming manufacturer has tweaked these components
into the best gaming laptop on the market. There are numerous gaming
specialists that make high quality machines well worth your
consideration but because of limited space here we will only examine
three major gaming manufacturers, sometimes for entirely different reasons.

These three are Alienware, Rockdirect and Dell. All produce serious
contenders for the ultimate gaming laptop. Here’s a brief rundown on
all three makers and their gaming laptops which may be of some help
to anyone looking to purchase a high-end gaming monster.

Alienware Laptops

First, we will start with the most distinctive looking gaming
laptops on the market. Those coming from Alienware, a company
founded by two avid gamers, Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila, in
1996. It has become one of the leading producers of revolutionary
gaming PCs and Notebooks. It has also won raves and rewards from such
top industry publications as CNET, PC Gamer, Computer Games and
many more.

Their flagship model is the Area-51m 7700. This scary monster
can be outfitted with an Intel Pentium 4 Processor with
Hyper-Threading Technology – (2.8GHz – 3.8GHz, 800MHz FSB,
1MB Cache, Socket 775) Intel 915P + ICH6 chipset with NVIDIA
GeForce GO 6800 ULTRA with 256MB DDR3. It has a 17 inch WideUXGA
1920×1200 LCD Display and 4 dedicated SO-DIMM slots for
Dual-Channel DDR2 Memory. Warranties can be purchased for up
to 4 years.

The Alienware Area-51m 7700’s base price starts at around
$2000 but if you want to max out this system, be prepared
to double that amount. High price for high performance.
Runs quiet and cool. This one is dressed to kill.

Rockdirect Laptops

Next, we go across the pond, for a company that produces some
high priced yet powerful gaming machines. Rockdirect gaming notebooks
are another group of machines that many gamers should consider.
Rockdirect, formerly known as Rock, is a British company that’s
on the cutting edge of notebook technology. They have had a long
history of making high quality laptops for business and gaming.
Rockdirect laptops are expensive, there’s no way to get around
that fact.

Rockdirect’s Xtreme 64 is one of the world’s first dual core
notebooks using AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ processors and twin
100GB 7,200RPM hard drives. With NVIDIAGeForce Go 7800 GTX
graphics and a 17 inch WSXGA+ (1680×1050) display with X-Glass
for better viewing. Around 2,300 pounds or $4,000 USD.
Three Year Collect and Return Warranty.

Dell Laptops

Hey dude, this can’t be a DEll?

Dell with the introduction of its XPS second generation gaming
laptops has to be considered by the serious gamer. Don’t laugh!
With the introduction of the XPS Gen2 laptops, Dell entered the
gaming market for real. A lot of people stood up and took notice.

Even more people stood up when Dell introduced the XPS Renegade 600
desktop gaming system with 4 NVIDIA 7800GTX GPUs at the
CES this year. Now that’s putting SLI to some good use!

Dell’s top Notebook Model is the XPS M170 powered by
Intel Pentium M Processor 780 (2.26 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
and 2GB1 Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz 2 Dimm Memory on
a 100GB 7200rpm Hard Drive. It uses 256MB NVIDIA GeForce
Go 7800 GTX and has a 17 inch UltraSharp Wide Screen UXGA
Display. Priced at around $3,896 with a two year warranty
and longer warranties may be purchased.

Show me the Facts!

Anyone can pick a top gaming notebook and say its the fastest
in the world. However, you have to prove it or back it up.
That’s where benchmark testing enters the picture, these are
standard tests that rate the performance level of your
gaming laptop. Hey, tests are good for something!

One good site that has performed a whole slue of tests on
the gaming laptops mentioned above is www.hexus.net.
You can see the different Benchmark tests here:
http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=4188

Testing for memory bandwidth and latency, picfast,
cryptography, raytracing, realistic render, encoding and
so on. The dual core Rock XTreme 64 showed impressive
numbers, even beating out an Athlon 4000+ Desktop in
many areas.

WildCard Entry: M-TECH!

There’s another laptop maker many novice gamers don’t consider
when buying their ultimate gaming machine. It may not be as
well known as the ones above but the real wildcard entry is
M-TECH. This is basically the American equivalent of Rockdirect,
although the companies are in no way connected. They just have a
similar philosophy of working with and using cutting-edge technology
and firms to produce some superior gaming machines.

M-TECH, a Michigan company, started in 1995 and has close
strategic partnerships with Tech firms in Silicon Valley. It
is favorably reviewed by many industry magazines such as
Laptops, Mobile Computing, CNET, PC TODAY and others.

M-TECH produces some powerful low priced (relatively speaking)
gaming laptops such as the D900K and the D900T:

You can configure your D900T with two 100GB (7200RPM) SATA HDD
Hard Drives with Pentium 4 3.8GHz 2MB L2Cache with a RAID setup.
With Nvidia GeForce Go 7800 GTX w/256MB DDR3 and a 17 inch TFT WSXGA+
Glassview LCD display for around $3500 USD. One year warranty,
longer warranties may be purchased.

When buying your laptop, keep in mind, just because a gaming
laptop has a lot of style doesn’t mean it has sacrificed performance.
It is not a matter of style over substance, it just means
you have to pay highly for all that style/advertising/packaging.
If you can afford it, go for a higher priced gaming laptop.
People buy Ferraries don’t they? There’s no accounting for how
people spend their money, if you want one of these dual core
laptops from Rockdirect and you can take a little bit of heat
and noise with your games, go for a Rockdirect Xtreme 64 or
the older Xtreme Ti.

If you want a dressed to kill Alienware laptop, go for the
Area-51m 7700. If you’re on a budget, look closely at the Dell
XPS M170 or the other XPS systems and watch for special Dell
coupons and discounts. Dell is known for giving some great
discounts so keep your eyes peeled. And if you really want to
go against the mainstream, why not check out M-TECH. Especially
the M-TECH D900K or the D900T, ultimate performance at a good price.

No matter which gaming system you go with, try to pick one
that has a fully upgradeable open architecture structure so
you can easily upgrade when the time comes. Keep in mind,
laptop technology is changing so fast by the time your
dream machine is configured, it is probably already out of date.
Sobering thought but more true than any of us would like to
believe.

Finding the fastest gaming laptop may be an on-going process
of outfitting your dream machine with the latest technologies
and hardware as they come on stream. Hey, nobody said life would
be simple.

Just wondering how you can fit Quad SLI with 4 GPUs
into a laptop. Hey, it can happen and probably will!

How to Guide For Downloading Wii Games Online

Jason Klepp asked:

The Nintendo Wii is no doubt a powerful gaming experience. Not only in terms of graphics capabilities, but also in terms of the new level of user interaction with the system. Nintendo have really shown in the last 2 years that within the gaming community, exist a number of consumers interested in a much more casual and social gaming experience. Much of which the Nintendo Wii lends itself to.

In line with the growing popularity of the Wii, there now are appearing a new class of online services which allow consumers to download wii games online.

If you are a Wii owner, I am sure you are aware the ongoing cost of the keeping up with the latest Wii games far outweighs the cost of the console itself. Especially if you are like me and get tired of playing a game after only a few hours! This new breed of online services are focused on addressing exactly this issue.

I had previously searched online for “how to download wii games”, and as you can see there are literally thousands of options. I actually tested (or tried to test) out a couple of traditional Wii games from various torrent sites. This has always been more of a hit and miss approach in my experience and I have generally always had problems with getting the game to work and removing the large number of viruses that seem to go hand in hand with many of these torrent download services.

My advice for those looking to download wii games from such sites or online services would be to really do your homework in the initial stages and source a reputable service (generally a site that offers a support line is a good indicator) that way this will help keep your computer virus free and also allow you to enjoy the Wii to its fullest potential. There are many services out there and available, the secret sauce is really selecting a reputable and professional one.

Rival Gaming – Online Gaming Software

Tony Sugamosto asked:

Rival Gaming offers an online casino software that has something for everyone. They deliver a gaming package which includes the standard casino games as well as poker, sports booking and mobile gaming. Their trademark is certainly innovation and they have changed slots gaming forever by introducing the interactive iSlot to the market. Rival is also known to offer some of the largest casino bonuses in the industry. Rival’s graphics and layout ensure easy navigation and both PC and MAC users can enjoy Rival Gaming portals.

The Casino Games

There should be no lack of good casino games at Rival Gaming casinos. Their casino suite includes a huge amount of slots, including the famous iSlots. They also offer the classical games like roulette, baccarat, video poker and blackjack. Some of the most famous progressive slots are by Rival so players can find very attractive jackpots to compete for. Other special games produced by Rival are scratch card games and keno which completes the rich casino gaming experience that they provide.

Other Games

Currently you will mostly find the standard Rival casino suite online but this is most likely going to look different as more Rival powered gaming portals open up. You can already now find Rival games in connection with sports book and poker which gives you all that online gaming can offer in one place.

Graphics and Animation

Graphics and animations are there to enhance the gaming experience and make it come alive. In slot machines the themes become much more fun through sound effects and little animations that announce successful combinations and bonus rounds. Rival Gaming casinos are well known to deliver high quality graphics and animations. The area where this is very important is the lobby. The Rival lobby is easy to navigate thanks to the clear and easy structured graphics. You will find your way fast and find that the backdrops only reinforces the atmosphere of good online gaming without interrupting the layout of the games.

iSlots

If you haven’t tried the iSlots you certainly should have heard about them. This slot machine lets the player get into the theme for real. The animations in the iSlot are more than reinforcement to the general theme they are storylines to discover and enjoy. As you play on the slot the story unfolds and this makes the iSlot into a combination of video slot and movie. The machines are updated with new stories and movies on a regular basis so it never gets boring.

Rival for MAC

MAC users are not a majority of players online and many times they just have to stick to the instant flash casinos that are available in many places. The instant casinos are usually very good but they are often not the complete versions of the casino. The Rival Gaming software is available both to PC and MAC users which is a feature that gives them a lot of respect both by operators and players.

Safety and Support

Rival casinos can offer customer support through phone, email or live chat. The software is formed to create a safe place for players to enjoy high quality online gaming. Their own security client RivalPro ensures that every transaction of money and sensitive information is kept secure at all times.

Alliance Power Leveling Guide

MD Weems asked:

For those who are new to World of Warcraft or who just want to try their hand at playing the Alliance, finding the right Alliance power leveling guide can be a challenge. Of course, there are those popular Alliance power leveling guides that everyone has heard of, but do they really cut it when it comes to leveling? Well, here are some tips on how to find the right Alliance power leveling guide for you.

1. Search out some of the most popular Alliance leveling guides on different gaming sites. Find reviews and blogs about them and see what others are saying about the guide. Is the feedback good or bad or in the middle? Do other gamers think that the guide is worth buying or not? Are there good reviews on the guide from people other than just the author? Check out all that you can find about that guide and some of the other popular guides out on the web today.

2. Watch the prices. You should never spend more than $40 for a high quality Alliance power leveling guide, especially if you can not use the guide or if it is not a good guide. There are some Alliance guides out there that are priced well over $60 and they will not take you through all the way to level 70, provide end game information, or help with gold making ideas in the guide. Most simply tell you the quests you should pick up, and that’s about it.

3. Take other players advice. Ask other people you are friends with about guides that they have purchased. You will be surprised at the answers that you will get. Some will recommend different guides and others will tell you which guides NOT to purchase. Trust me, there are players out there who have purchased several different guides and know which ones are good and which are bad. Take their advice, it’s the best way you will know which guides actually work and which are not worth the money.

4. Keep in mind that all Alliance power leveling guides are not created equal. Some will be for more advanced, veteran players and others will be for new players. Make sure that you read everything on the guide’s web site so you can get a feel for who the guide is written for.

Just make sure that you read up on any Alliance power leveling guide that you want to purchase. There are so many out there and you want one that is comprehensive and will help you with everything in the World of Warcraft, from start to finish. Flamewater’s Alliance Power Leveling Guide does just that, so when you are ready for a guide that will take you from 1-70 and allow you to play any raceand any class, head over to http://www.AlliancePowerLevelingSecrets.com.

Why You Should Build Your Own Gaming PC Instead

Terence Sanchez asked:

If you’re a gamer like me, you know exactly how important each component of your computer can be in relation to gaming. Performance is key when trying to perform during crucial moments in graphics-intensive games. The slightest lag or even, “mini-spikes” as many of us have come to call it, can easily determine whether you win or lose. Having enough processing and graphical power to run your favorite games at higher graphical detail settings can also help you out. How many of you, like me in the past, have been forced to turn off certain graphical settings such as “shadows” or setting everything to “low” to reduce lag and delay, only to find it harder to perform certain tasks in-game due to the missing detail? I know I have. Many times in the past, especially in games that require not only fast but accurate movement and control, have I ended up losing a match and knowing that “spikes” and lag played a major role in it. Having a gaming computer that allows you to perform at your best might just be the reason why your winning percentage isn’t as high as you’d like it to be.

But why go through the trouble of building your own computer you ask? Why can’t you just buy one from major brand computer manufacturers? As I’ve said before, every component is important. Manufacturers use cheap computer parts and then over-price their sale. But that’s not the manufacturer’s fault, after all, they need to make a profit. And that’s exactly why buying your own computer parts and putting them together can not only save you hundreds (if not thousands, depending on the specs you desire), but can also ensure you quality brand parts for each component of your beloved gaming PC. When building your own computer, you know EXACTLY what parts you used and what brand, you know EXACTLY what you’re paying for, paying for EXACTLY what you need, and you know every single aspect of your own PC. This can also mean you’ll have an easier time troubleshooting certain hardware problems in the future.

What are the strings attached though? Not many actually, and easily ignorable as well. For one, you get no technical support for your PC as a whole. But you DO have support for each individual component that makes up your computer (assuming you bought them from quality brands), which can be even better. Another problem that stops most people from building their own gaming PC is they’re either too young (after all, most gamers are teenagers or in college), which means they most likely don’t have a college degree in computer hardware, or that they feel intimidated by the “complexity” of building one. Well guess what? You don’t need to be an expert at computer hardware or electronics to build one. Building a PC is like putting together a 20 piece puzzle, a very easy one because you’ll know exactly where each piece fits into. Plus, there are many step by step guides out there that can guide you as well, just in case you still feel lost. It is literally a matter of plugging things in the only places they can fit into. Anyone can easily read about what parts you need, where it plugs into and what it does, and easily build their first custom-built PC all while still knowing nothing about general electronics.

Building a PC of your own can take some time as well of course. Once you understand the basics, you might start to get a little picky about your parts, which you should be. You should always want exactly what kind of specifications, power and capabilities you want your computer to have, especially if you’re building a gaming PC. So it might take a few hours or even a couple days of looking things up and researching for the parts you truly want. Building the actual PC once you have all the necessary components is the easy (and fun) part. It can take as short as 15 minutes to plug everything in the motherboard and the motherboard into the chassis/case. There should be no reason for it to take longer than a maximum of four hours though. Think about it, a few hours total of your time, and you save yourself hundreds of dollars and got exactly what you needed. On top of that, you can make your computer look how you want it to look (just choose the chassis you want! But make sure it matches your motherboard) and you can be proud of your beautiful creation.
