Buy PC Game and Download
Written by Going Pro Gaming Posted on Feb 28, 2009, 4:06 am
Hello avid gamer or noob gamer did you know that there is more than one way to get that game that you are looking for and it is easier than you think and faster. The info below is my opinion on this method of buying games.
There are a lot of pc game download sites that are legal and secure some are actually the people that made the game to begin with these pc game download sites offer a lot more than a few games you can buy and download they have game news game trailers and actual screenshots from the game so you can research a game title and decide about it.
Other pc game download sites are membership type of sites where you can download via p2p transfer these are just glorified limewire, bearshare you get the idea you join a network and everyone shares their files over it. I do not care for this method I prefer to buy my pc game via download or at the store because it will be mine and if I have a problem I can redownload from a reputable site or go back to the store.
I have downloaded a few games via a online download site if you need to reinstall the game you just logg on to where you bought it and you will be able to download it again. The pc game download site you choose will give you all the information you will need when you make your purchase. To me this seems easier and you will not have a mountain of games cds laying around.
This method of getting your pc game download is getting more popular because it is easier cheaper and faster for everyone. I like buying my games this way but some of you may not but at least now you know that it can and is being done. I hope you find this information useful.

History of the PC Flight Simulator
Written by Going Pro Gaming Posted on Feb 26, 2009, 11:20 am
The flight simulator programme was developed in 1977 by Bruce Artwick. He developed it for several personal computers, whereby it became more and more popular that now almost every user is playing on the pc flight simulator. As the time passed, there were further developments made in this software and presently it offers a wide range of aircrafts to choose from along with the real looking sceneries which give a more realistic feel to the players while using the simulator games.
The pc flight simulator covers the whole world to the varying detail levels, including 24,000 airports. Along with this, details of scenery is included that represents many historical landmarks, natural wonders and cities from around the world. The landscape details are often patchy, away from the population centres. There are many websites that are offering sceneries to be used as add-on in the games, which makes it more exciting and adventurous for its users.
Apart from obtaining add-ons and possibly a joystick, a pc flight simulator is easy to use. Therefore even kids can also use the simpler versions and have fun. There are several versions of the simulator games. For example, when the Flight Pro Sim is used by the aviation industry for training the pilots and the crew, then obviously they use the best and the complete version. Similarly when designing the aircraft, again the latest and best version needs to be used. When using it just for fun, the player can choose any version they alike according to their wishes and needs.
The success of pc flight simulator programs have resulted in the Guinness World Records awarding several world records for the longest running flight simulator, the most successful simulator series and as one of the most costly at-home flight sim cockpits. This software is easily available on the internet and anybody can get it and have fun with it as well.

The Elements of a PC System
Written by Going Pro Gaming Posted on Feb 24, 2009, 6:11 am
New PC gaming systems come out all the time and if we were to tell you about the latest and greatest system it would be obsolete by the time you actually read this article. Instead of doing this we would like to talk about the main things that make up a great PC system and what the must haves are.
The first thing to seriously consider is the size of your monitor and video card. Most video cards that come out have HDMI outputs which mean you could literally use an HDTV as your computer monitor. By having a larger monitor, especially a wide screen one, you can ensure yourself to see the games the way they were made to be seen. You will find so much more enjoyment in watching movies, surfing the web, and playing games on your PC as you will be able to see everything sharply and clearly.
The next thing is make sure you have a killer PC sound system. Most PC games are made in 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound. By just running the game in stereo you are missing out on the full experience. Part of the fun of playing a game is hearing those creepy noises behind you or hearing something roar. Don’t make the mistake of getting a way fast PC but not getting a nice surround sound system as you will definitely regret it.
The last thing is PC system speed. Make sure you get a system that utilizes Dual core technology and is fast enough to handle your nice graphics and game engines.

Microsoft PC Simulators Take it All
Written by Going Pro Gaming Posted on Feb 13, 2009, 6:00 pm
Microsoft has been king of PC’s ever since they hit the market. So, we shouldn’t be too surprised that they have once again reigned as chief over all the best games with the best features for pc simulators. That’s right; some of the hottest simulation games out there for the Pc have been created by Microsoft. Even though they had to lay people off, they have still found a way to bring fun to computers across the globe.
One of those games that have everyone in a twist that Microsoft created is Flight Pro Sim. This game has all the graphics that one could ever hope for when it comes to all those pc simulators that you love to play. It has the voice command as if you are truly navigating the plane and such. It can’t get much more real than that.
While the Ace section of Microsoft has been shut down, it seems that the gaming section won’t be gearing back up. This has put an end to pc simulators. Before they closed Aces, they had produced ten games for the pc addicts. Many hope that this is only temporary. But many do anticipate that instead of pc simulators, there will be simulator games for Xbox and other gaming consoles. Due to the closing there haven’t been many of any sorts of games.
Microsoft has many plans to increase the level of quality for many of their games that aren’t on pc. This will help them to look more realistic and give you an even greater quality as you play these games. Many 3D graphics have been added to pc simulators and were tested on some of their computer games. These same graphics will be used for Xbox and many other game consoles. However, Microsoft is further along in development of games than most other companies. They take the lead.

PC Hunting Games are Getting More Interactive and Real
Written by Going Pro Gaming Posted on Feb 13, 2009, 10:59 am
If you are the type of person who gets thrilled by hunting moose, ducks and rabbits, then you should try hunting games. PC hunting games have a long history. They first started as a way to pass time. The games in the past were of very low quality. They had poor sound and graphics, poor game play and received a lot of bad reviews. A lot of gamers wouldn’t even give hunting games a second look.
However this was all in the past, and as technology improved, so did games. PC hunting games in particular have made a lot of improvements since their humble beginnings. No longer must you trudge through low quality graphics and sound. They now have better game play and the fun factor has greatly increased. Today, there are a lot of great hunting games out there and a lot of people are getting addicted to them. These types of games are great for all ages and for both hunters and non-hunters alike.
The great thing about PC hunting games today is that developers aim for realism. It is actually a unique experience to be able to kill your first boar in the comforts of your own room and hanging its head on your virtual living room in the game. There is nothing like being able to choose the best gun and being able to select the you choice of bullets to load in the cartridge. A long time ago, hunting games didn’t offer much realism as they do today. In the past, you would only see the nozzle tip of your shot gun and a poorly pixilated image of an animal to shoot at.
Due to the recent advancements in technology a lot more people are buying PC hunting games. If you haven’t tried one out yet, then you should! Even real live hunters find these games very enjoyable and more importantly realistic. Be careful though, because once you have your own hunting game, you’ll surely become addicted to it day and night.

Reviews of the Latest PC Games
Written by Going Pro Gaming Posted on Feb 10, 2009, 8:44 pm
Finding some good information on the latest PC games can be quite a difficult task. I’ve tried to do a Google search with the key words ‘latest PC games’ or ‘current PC games’. I got thousands of replies but most of them were not what I was looking for. I’ve been keen on playing PC games for a long time and I’ve always found it hard to come across any decent sites giving updated information about the latest PC games. Nowadays all the attention goes to gaming consoles and thus, finding news on computer games is getting harder and harder.
Probably the most popular gaming platform are computers. So you can look for the latest PC games on websites devoted to them. It is not really difficult to find lists of new games and their prices but it is a couple of times harder to find any good sites which offer reviews about the newest PC games. If I have to recommend you some sites I’d suggest you had a look on my personal favourite ones – Gamespot, Gamespy, IGN, and Gamezone.
You can always find recent reviews of the lastest PC games on them, as well as some information on the most popular and newest console videogames. Even though I sometimes fully disagree with the reviews published, I still believe they are useful, at least you can get some basic info about the game, for example what it’s genre is. In my case, if it’s not one of the types I like, I don’t purchase it and save some money. If I have genuine interest in a particular game I usually read at least a couple of reviews on different sites about it. That way I get all the information I need before going to the store and buying it.
One of the reasons why you should try to get as many reviews as possible about a PC game before purchasing it is because the price of the latest games varies about $50 per title. I cannot imagine anything worse than spending your hard-earned money on a new PC game which might turn out to be a beta program filled with bugs, a game with a poorly conceived plot. However, it is true that most of the latest PC games are no good, as the standard is getting lower and lower.
Being completely honest, I have to admit that from time to time even nowadays a real treasure comes out of the blue. This gem gets much more appreciation and popularity now because the rest of the new PC games are not worth it. I try to regularly check for news on the latest PC games on varies sites with the only hope to find and buy one of these gems.
